We produced a limited quantity of "Kumamon Ink," a collaboration with the Kumamoto character "Kumamon." As a Shoyu Online exclusive, it was given as a gift to the first 1,000 customers who purchased 7,700 yen or more during the campaign period, which lasted until September 30, 2021.
"Kumamon Ink" can be enjoyed both as a "cute scented ornament" and as "ink for artwork." It is an extremely rare product, with only 1,000 pieces in the world, available exclusively as a non-sale item. Please enjoy it as a genuine Japanese ink that can be used both as a decorative piece and for calligraphy works.

A shaped ink made possible by skilled artisans
The project was by Shoyu, with production by "Kobaien," the oldest ink manufacturer in Nara, founded in the late Muromachi period. Harnessing over 440 years of traditional techniques and craftsmanship, they took on the extremely difficult challenge of creating sculpted ink. The fragile design was finished into a dense and durable product.
