The Eiji brand seal knives use alloy and superalloy at the core of the blade.
They are said to be highly resistant to chipping and have a service life about ten times longer than usual.
Another feature is that, when viewed under a tool microscope, the blade edge appears straight and offers smooth sharpness.
Since the core of the blade contains alloy or superalloy, please use an oil stone or diamond whetstone for re-sharpening.
