Preserving Hanging Scrolls

When putting away a hanging scroll, choose a day with little humidity. Use a soft brush to carefully remove dust from the surface before placing it into the paulownia box.
Additionally, once stored, make sure to air out the scrolls at least once every six months. To relieve curling, hang them for about three days.
