Choose a Mat to Match Your Work

The size obtained by halving a full sheet vertically is called "Hansetsu" or "Jōfuku".
When writing on Hansetsu (Jōfuku) paper, use a Hansetsu (Jōfuku) mat (45×150 cm).
Please choose a mat that matches the size of the paper you wish to use.

Felt and Lasha Types

Each of the two materials has its own characteristics.
Choose according to your preferred thickness and texture.
Felt mats, known for their luxury and volume, are made by compressing animal hair and are characterized by softness and excellent water repellency.
Lasha mats are more affordable than felt, with fabric that is durable and resistant to wrinkles, making them convenient for folding, carrying, and washing.
