Text Series: Han-Dynasty Clerical Script 9 – Inscription of the Stone Gate

This rock-carved monument, like the Kaitong Baoshadao Stone Carving, was carved into a stone gate in Shaanxi Province. Its thin yet powerful lines exude a rustic charm, yet the calligraphy is neat and tidy with eight-tenths of a stroke. It also has a free-spirited side, with elongated vertical strokes.
