Text Series: Tang-Dynasty Regular Script 1 – Huadu Temple Stele (Ouyang Xun)

This is the masterpiece of Ouyang Xun, who wrote the Jiucheng Palace Liquan Inscription, considered the pinnacle of regular script. While it lacks the vividness of the Jiucheng Palace Liquan Inscription, it includes both the Wang Mengyang version, which boasts a solid structure and a tasteful rubbing, and the Dunhuang version, which was brought out by French explorer Pelliot from the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang. Incidentally, Hidai Tenrai copied the entire work in "Academic Books, Quanzi."
