Text Series: Tang-Dynasty Regular Script 3 – Huangfudan Stele (Ouyang Xun)

This calligraphy piece from Ouyang Xun's later years is even more rigorous than the Jiucheng Palace Liquan Inscription and the Huadu Temple Stele, making it a masterpiece that demonstrates the solitary state he finally reached. Ouyang Xun's regular script appears to have become thinner and sharper in his later years. Compare it with the square and solemn "Huadu Temple Stele," the elegant "Jiucheng Palace Liquan Inscription," and the precipitous "Huangfu Tan Stele."
