Fujian Yuban Hansetsu
Fujian Yuban Hansetsu
Handmade gashi paper suitable for general kanji writing.
"Gyokuban" is a technique in which the paper surface is repeatedly polished with the smooth part of an animal's tusk (which means tooth in Japanese) or natural jade (a gemstone in the East) to give it smoothness and flexibility, resulting in a firm, firm surface.
This processing technique is called "gyokuban processing," and gashi paper that has undergone this process is called "gyokuban-sen."
The paper is smooth and easy to write on, with vibrant ink colors.
It's suitable for regular script, as well as cursive and semi-cursive script.
*The quality of this product may vary depending on the batch and the climate and water temperature during the papermaking process.
