Fixative for Painting Mud Powder 60ml
How to Dissolve Gold, Silver, and Metallic Powders Using Fixer
Glue Substitutes
Fixer can be used as a substitute for glue.
Procedure
- Add an appropriate amount of gold paint to a mixing dish, then gradually add the fixer and mix well.
- Adjust the volume of fixer so that it is about 3 to 5 times the volume of the gold paint. This should achieve a viscosity that allows for easy brush application.
- Test the ink first to check the color and gloss. Dilute with tap water as needed and adjust the color and gloss before use.
Furthermore, the closer to 50% dilution with water, the weaker the adhesive strength of the fixer will be, but the brighter the color and gloss will be.
Furthermore, the higher the ratio of fixer to gold paint, the darker the color and the duller the gloss will be.
