This is Kaimei's flagship general-purpose ink.

Its excellent spreadability and moderate gloss make it comparable to liquid ink made by grinding high-quality solid ink to a high concentration.
Its excellent bleeding on paper and excellent water resistance make it suitable for a wide range of uses.
This product previously tended to thicken in the winter, but this has now been improved.
Compared to "Kaimei Shoeki" and "Kaimei Sumi no Hana," it dries slightly slower. (It takes longer to dry on glass or plastic surfaces.)
It's ideal for calligraphy practice, calligraphy production, and even office work, manga, illustrations, prints, and fish prints.
Kent paper is especially effective for manga and illustrations, as it produces a beautiful finish with no uneven writing or coloring.
When framing calligraphy or paintings on paper, it's important to allow the ink to dry thoroughly over several days.
