Achieve Crisp Seal Impressions with an Injyokudai

The surface used for stamping seals is called an Injyokudai (seal cushion stand).
A base that is neither too soft nor too hard provides stable support for the seal, allowing even the finest carved details to transfer clearly onto the paper.
For best results, use it together with an Inku (ink ruler), which securely fixes the stamping position and prevents misalignment.
Once the position is set, apply firm, even pressure to ensure the seal impression is captured in full detail.

Some sets include a magnetic Inku, making alignment quick and precise.
