Characteristics of Soyokaze
Soyokaze is an inkstone made from the soot of rapeseed oil and high-quality glue.
It spreads very well, producing a beautiful, lustrous pure black when used as thick ink, and a brownish-purple black when used as thin ink.
Ideal for kanji, kana, and scroll work.
