Calligraphy Classics Series Vol. 27: “Fushinjo” & “Kanjo-ki”

Two of Kukai's masterpieces have been compiled into one volume. Newly reprinted, they are clearer than the text series. Every character in "Fushincho," a letter addressed to Saicho, and every name in "Kanjoki," written in slightly larger characters, are accompanied by a "skeleton calligraphy" showing the strokes. Includes explanations of character shapes and stroke order, a modern translation, and introductions to sections suitable for creating copy works (2-32 characters).
