Old Calligraphy Copy "Honami-giri"

Honami-giri is a fragment of the "Kokin Wakashū," said to have been copied by Ono no Michikaze.
It is named after Honami Koetsu, who treasured it.
Made of indigo, white, and withered leaf-colored karakami paper, scrolls and fragments are housed at the Imperial Household Agency's Sannomaru Shozokan (Hozokan Collection),
Kyoto National Museum, and other institutions.
The calligraphy is characterized by its elegant, flowing lines and powerful lines, and is of high quality.
