Chōraku 1.0-chō (Nihon Seiboku)

This ink is made using a proprietary blend of lubricant and high-quality glue. Its smooth flow allows it to be polished to a thick consistency in a short amount of time. It can be used for a wide range of purposes, from practicing thick brush strokes on hanshi paper to creating kanji scrolls.

*While we have sufficient stock, ink is only manufactured during a limited period of the year, from November to March. If an item is out of stock, you may have to wait approximately one year for the next shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
*Ink does not tolerate sudden temperature changes, direct sunlight, or high humidity. After use, thoroughly wipe off any moisture from the ink brush head and store it in the paulownia wood or paper box it came in. Store it in a desk drawer or wooden box.
