Utagokoro 1.5-chō (Nihon Seiboku)

Ink oil soot is made exclusively from the finest rapeseed soot and the finest glue. Its excellent spreadability makes it ideal for kana writing, even in thick ink. It can produce a beautiful, lustrous, pure black, or a beautiful brownish black in light ink.

*Ink oil does not tolerate sudden temperature changes, direct sunlight, or high humidity. After use, thoroughly wipe off any moisture from the ink brush head and store it in the paulownia wood or paper box it came in, in a desk drawer or wooden box, etc.
