Rikyu 1.0-chō (Nihon Seiboku)

This ink is a combination of oil soot and high-quality glue, developed using proprietary technology. Blended with genuine indigo, it achieves a vibrant and beautiful blue hue. This blue ink is ideal for sumi-e (ink painting), sumi-e (ink-colored painting), haiku (poetry) and illustrated letters, as well as calligraphy.

*While we have sufficient stock, our ink is only manufactured during a limited period of the year, from November to March. If an item is out of stock, you will have to wait approximately one year for the next shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding.
*Ink does not tolerate sudden temperature changes, direct sunlight, or high humidity. After use, thoroughly wipe off any moisture from the ink brush and store it in the paulownia wood box or paper box it came in. Store it in a desk drawer or wooden box.
