Features of Saoshika
Saoshika was developed specifically for kana writing, taking into consideration the ink flow required for kana writing, a refined ink color, a writing feel similar to solid ink, and compatibility with paper (processed paper and raw paper).
It is made from paulownia soot, a pure vegetable soot considered to be of high quality.
The ink color is a refined black with a light reddish-brown hue, making it suitable for a wide range of writing styles, from fine to large.
It can also be mounted, making it recommended for creative writing.
It is formulated to a standard concentration so it can be used as is. You can also add water to create a lighter ink.
To create a thicker ink, grind the ink stick and adjust to your desired consistency.
