Handmade Gasen Paper for general Kanji work. This Taiwanese-style Gasen Paper is characterized by the inclusion of chalk powder (gofun) in its raw materials.
Gofun gives the paper a powdery surface, providing a strong brush grip and resistance.
In particular, the ink color "makes the black stand out more," resulting in beautiful bleed and blur, making it ideal for creating artwork.
The paper thickness is divided into "normal thickness" and "thick thickness." The thicker paper allows the ink to penetrate deeper, creating a more three-dimensional look.
We offer a wide range of sizes, from half-size to those suitable for public exhibitions.
*Gofun: Shells ground into a powder. Thick shells such as oysters and clams are highly prized because they are easy to grind into powder, but other shells are also widely used.
