Characteristics of Benibana
Safflower is an ink made from soot made from rapeseed oil and rouge extracted from safflower (safflower) grown in Yamagata.
The ink is black, but adding a deep red makes the black even more striking.
It spreads easily, and when used as thick ink, it is a glossy pure black, and when used as thin ink, it is a brownish black.
Ideal for kana and kanji works.
