Characteristics of Genryu
Genryu is an ink made from oil soot and high-quality glue, developed over more than 400 years of ink-making.
Ideal for Chinese character scrolls, it darkens quickly.
When used thick, it is a mysterious, pure black, and when used lightly, it is a brownish-purple black.
Ideal for Chinese character scrolls.
