Characteristics of Shusei
Shusei is an ink made from soot from rapeseed oil and high-quality glue.
It spreads very well, and when used thick, it is a beautiful, lustrous pure black, while when used thin, it is a brownish-purple black.
It is ideal for kanji, kana, and scroll works.
