Kōsai Gan Tankei Inkstone 8.5 inch

These inkstones are mined in the Fuka Mountain area facing Gaoyao County, Guangdong, China. Located on the mountainside south of Laokeng, many of these inkstones closely resemble Laokeng Duanxi inkstones.
They produce excellent ink transfer, and many feature a fine-grained stone with a reddish-purple base. Compared to Laokeng Duanxi inkstones, the stone is drier, producing a sound closer to metal.
