Handmade gashi paper suitable for general Chinese characters.
Produced in Fujian Province, this paper is one of the representative types of Japanese writing paper, along with "Maobien," "Bairen," "Yukaku," and "Fenren," and is made from 100% bamboo.
The paper has an ochre color and no bleeding, and is easy to write on with a light brush stroke and just the right amount of resistance.
It features good ink color development and produces a beautiful black.
Can be used for calligraphy practice and calligraphy competitions.
