Handmade painting paper suitable for general Chinese characters. This Taiwanese-style painting paper features a soft, fluffy texture. It contains gofun (white powder) that provides a good grip for the brush, making it easy to write on, even for beginners. The white paper makes the black stand out even more when written with thick ink, ensuring your work stands out. With just the right amount of bleeding and smudges, this paper is perfect for practicing and taking your work to the next level. Paper thicknesses are available in "normal" and "thick." This "thick" paper allows ink to penetrate well, resulting in a three-dimensional finish. It's also suitable for running, cursive, clerical, and seal scripts. As the #1 best-selling drawing paper since its release, it's reliable and reliable in quality. We offer a wide range of sizes, from half-sized paper to sizes suitable for public exhibitions.

Differences in Expression Depending on Thickness

Normal-thick paper allows ink to spread more easily, requiring less ink, allowing for more agile brushstrokes.
Also, regular-thick paper is more prone to bleeding than thick paper.
If you want to avoid bleeding, choose thicker paper.
To minimize bleeding, you can increase the ink density.

Thick paper allows the ink to penetrate deep into the paper, resulting in less horizontal bleeding and a sense of depth in the ink color.
Thick paper requires a larger amount of ink to be used, and because there is less bleeding, it is easier to express rubbing.
If you don't want rubbing, it is better to choose a standard thickness.

We recommend that you try out standard and thick paper to compare the advantages of each.
