Saiboku Chūkin (Boku-Undo)

After grinding the ink, the heavy gold settles to the bottom of the inkstone. This sludgy gold is what you'll use.
To prevent oxidation, coat both sides of the inkstone with fixative (fixing spray) after completing your piece.
We recommend using a face brush rather than a small brush. The trick to writing with this inkstone is to soak the brush fully in the settled gold ink and slowly build it up as you write.
